More than two years ago, I brought to his attention that the built-in audiobook player-touted as part of its audiobook features-has a serious issue that causes severe pitch distortion when the user speeds up playback, making the feature unusable. While there are some good things in the software, and a potential for much more, there hasn't been an update in almost a year, and the developer is not responsive to feedback and implementation concerns. RS I purchased this app and two version upgrades over the past several years. I like Alfa and enjoyed trying it out, but I'm just not sure that I am willing to put in time and energy to manually keep a database up to data among several computers. This scenario is not what I am looking for. This would also mean, to my understanding of what you said, that if I added ebooks to the netbook to read, that they would not be added to the database unless I did it manually on the computer with the database. Does this mean I would have to export the database to the netbook in order to be able to use it when away from the network? does this mean that I would just be able to access the database only if the computer I am using is connected to the network in some way? I am thinking in terms of when I want to take my netbook out of the house and no longer have access to the network. You said "Alfa supports access to the database over local network only if you attach the remote drive as local drive to the computer with Alfa installed". Tazzie I have been trying out Alfa, and still a bit puzzled as to how syncing would work. We've scanned using a variety of antivirus software and can bring you the following results.
